5 Reasons to Consider our Exclusive Off-Road Vehicle Insurance Program

If you're an avid snowmobiler, you're just chomping at the bit for more snow. While you wait, consider what your insurance options are for your sled. It has been long assumed that Public insurance is your only option for insuring your sled, but that is simply not true. While you are required to plate your sled to drive it off your private property, you have options when it comes to your physical damage and comprehensive coverage.

Here are 5 reasons to consider our exclusive Off-Road Vehicle Insurance program:

Replacement Cost

Our policy offers replacement cost coverage on brand new off-road vehicles. For a flat fee of $100 per year, you can put your mind at ease and have your insurance claim settled on replacement cost as appose to the actual cash value. What this means is that if your sled or ATV is a total loss you will be paid out the insured value of the sled rather than the actual cash value which is the value of the sled at the time of the lossless depreciation. This coverage is available for the first two years.

No Inspection Required

If you are putting collision coverage on your sled or ATV for the first time, then Public insurance will require an inspection. This can be a huge hassle to load your sled or ATV onto the trailer, hook it up to your vehicle and drive it down to your insurance broker's office. With our insurance program, there is no requirement for a physical inspection of the unit.

Additional Discounts

We offer 50+ discounts on our policies (15% off) plus we also offer a safe rider discount for snowmobiles (10% off). If you are claims and traffic conviction-free and purchase a snopass, then you are eligible for the safe rider discount! Taking the online Snowmobile Safety Course will give an additional 5% discount.

Extra Coverages

A lot of thought was put into crafting this policy. It was built not just by insurance brokers but by avid riders as well. A few additional highlights of the policy are:

  • $2000 limit for accessories
  • $2000 limit for search and rescue expense
  • $1000 limit for salvage recovery costs

When it comes to insurance, proper coverage is more important than an insurance policy that will save you a few bucks. The exclusive policy offer will however do both (in most cases) - it will both offer you cost savings on your insurance and provide you with a more comprehensive insurance policy.
