2020 is the year of the staycation giving us a chance to explore our own province. Manitoba is home to some amazing beaches. We’ve put together a list of some of the top beaches to check out this summer.

Grand Beach
If white sand is your thing, take a day trip to Grand Beach. Go for a dip in the water, see the sand dunes, or visit the boardwalk for a complete beach-vacation feel.

Patrica Beach
Patricia Beach is about 84 km north of Winnipeg and boasts fine sand and clear water.

Victoria Beach
Victoria Beach is its own little town surrounded by magnificent beaches. If you're into sailing, there's even a yacht club.

Gimli Beach
Gimli Beach is a beautiful beach with great amenities for families. The harbour and boardwalk offer dining and shopping, and the beach itself features a large play structure that kids will love. 

Falcon Lake Main Beach
Falcon Lake Main Beach is a public beach in Falcon Lake, MB. This resort community offers camping and cottages near the lake. The beach itself has a beautiful pier and boardwalk to enjoy. 

Minnedosa Beach 
A sandy beach escape, that offers summer fun with good amenities. Bring a beach towel and enjoy the sun, swim in the lake, or bring a picnic to enjoy in the designated picnic area.  Just 50km north of Brandon, MB 

Birds Hill Beach
Located in Birds Hill Provincial Park, Birds Hill Beach is a smaller, man-made beach with great place to swim. There's clear water, a lifeguard on duty, and picnic areas.

Winnipeg Beach
There's lots to do in the community of Winnipeg Beach. Fun in the sand, strolls on the piers, beach volleyball, water sports—you may need to spend a few days there! 

Pinawa Beach
Located in the small resort-community of Pinawa, MB, it’s a great place for water sports and boating. It has 2 boat launches so you can get your fishing on.

Clearwater Lake
Located in Northern Manitoba, Clearwater Lake is a spectacularly clear freshwater lake with sparkling white beaches. It's a perfect spot for fishing, kayaking, and camping and is located about 40km from The Pas.

Pelican Lake
Pelican Lake is a large lake bordering the town of Ninette (about 74 km from Brandon). Its beaches are perfect for a day of relaxation and swimming. Pelican Lake is also great for fishing.

Delta Beach
Delta Beach is on the south shore of Lake Manitoba and was flooded in 2014. While still recovering, Delta beach offers beautiful expanses of sandy lakefront.

St. Ambroise Beach 
This public beach caters well to young families with its sandbars and shallow waters.

St. Malo beach
Located in St. Malo Provincial Park, St. Malo beach offers a quiet atmosphere without motorized boats. Its sandy beach and calm waters make it the perfect place to enjoy the sun before going for a swim.
